APT STRIKES NEW ALLIANCES TO
CHALLENGE SAP AND GREAT PLAINS

In a move to consolidate their aim of building a force to challenge SAP and Great Plains in the end-to-end business systems market, APT Projects has announced a series of new alliances with some of the industry's leading accounts channel developers.

Following the development of their Financials Plus package for the TCM4000+Workflow system with Sage® developers Mirac Systems, APT will be developing links to Pastel, Accpac®, Navision®, Omni and Turbocash accounts packages. This will enable the company to provide a complete business solution that will rival the offerings of the market's largest players.

Designed by Doncaster-based APT Projects, TCM 4000 + Workflow has been developed specifically for larger organisations that require more control over user access. The latest version provides a range of extra features. While retaining the intuitive interfaces common to the current latest version of the system, TCM 4000 + Workflow adds the ability to customise the record structure and to link to various accounting systems.

Major additions have been made to the Customer Service Management module making the product a top performer against the best of available bespoke systems. The system is a highly effective platform for adapting to a wide variety of vertical market needs as well as being the complete system for any organisation.

These include, for example those in the construction and engineering sector where the system deals with on-site record keeping, expediting materials and sub-contract services as well as providing the best housing and construction maintenance solution. For colleges and schools, TCM provides an effective solution to cross-referencing and keeping course records.

For those in manufacturing, the system provides a solution from sales forecasting to linking to Sage® accounts for instant accounts information on customers and suppliers. TCM 4000 + Workflow also leads the field in the professional services area where it helps with compliance obligations as well as providing a complete database system for professional offices of all sizes.

Developed by APT Projects, TCM 4000 + Workflow is the result of an eight-year investment programme The system runs under Microsoft® Windows® 98, Millenium, NT Workstation and NT Server, 2000 Workstation and 2000 Server  and XP.
