ELANBY CONSULTING APPOINTED DEALER
FOR APT'S TCM 4000 + WORKFLOW SYSTEM

Cardiff-based Elanby Consulting - www.elanby.com   - has been appointed a dealer for APT Projects' TCM 4000 + Workflow solution - www.aptprojects.com.

"We are using the system internally to maintain our own client contact applications as well as reselling to customers," says marketing director Colin Sargeant. "It was chosen after an exhaustive evaluation of alternative systems. Main reason for its selection was high level of functionality and price".

TCM 4000 + Workflow has been designed specifically for larger organisations that require more control over user access. The system provides a range of extra features. While retaining the intuitive interfaces common to the current latest version of the system, TCM 4000 + Workflow adds the ability to customise the record structure and to link to various accounting systems.

In the latest version, major additions have been made to the Customer Service Management module making TCM a top performer against the best of available bespoke systems. The system is a highly effective platform for adapting to a wide variety of vertical market needs as well as being the complete system for any organisation. These include, for example those in the construction and engineering sector where the system deals with on-site record keeping, expediting materials and sub-contract services as well as providing the best housing and construction maintenance solution. For colleges and schools, TCM provides an effective solution to cross-referencing and keeping course records.

For those in manufacturing, the system provides a solution from sales forecasting to linking to Sage accounts for instant accounts information on customers and suppliers. TCM 4000 + Workflow also leads the field in the professional services area where it helps with compliance obligations as well as providing a complete database system for professional offices of all sizes.

The folder-based system ensures that all company information is held in one accessible location, with easy availability of comprehensive reports. A marketing module includes powerful mail, email and fax merge functionality to support cost-effective marketing campaigns. The system integrates with numerous computer telephony systems, such as Argent Office and other TAPI compliant systems.

For call management, TCM 4000 + Workflow gives a user an effective way of dealing with calls - for taking elegant and full messages and for automatically diarising and logging the information quickly and easily. It works with a user's existing telephone system and is CTI compliant. TCM' contact management capability enables a user to build a comprehensive profile of contacts – with a complete history of each point of contact.

The system's unique Template Technology makes it easy to maintain elegant and meaningful records, and the powerful interactive diary records past and future events, letting users view each other's activities and appointment schedules. With the system's method of working, all incoming mail is scanned and then linked to the sender and to any other relevant folder. Faxes and emails are similarly treated with the additional benefit that if Winfax is used then the faxes can be viewed directly in TCM and filed without scanning. All outgoing correspondence can be stored as computer files with their content just a double click away.

Using TCM 4000 + Workflow, there are only two places where a file – any type of file - can be: either in the TCM user's Work File or in the correct folder. Everything to do with that contact or subject is in one place. It is possible to keep years of important data online even though the originals may be long gone to the archive. The system also allows users to back up thousands of documents onto CD for storage and portability.

Developed by APT Projects, TCM 4000 + Workflow is the result of an eight-year investment programme The system runs under Microsoft Windows 95/98, Millenium, NT Workstation and NT Server and XP. More information on TCM at: www.aptprojects.com. Or by email at: tcm@aptprojects.com .
