NEW PHOTO ID CARD FEATURE WITH TCM4000+WORKFLOW BOOSTS SECURITY

In a move to help businesses and property owners improve access security to their premises, APT Projects have added new functionality to their TCM4000+Wokflow business system to enable users to generate photo ID cards directly from the system.

The new feature is a specially developed interface that has been designed to cope the new threat to corporate security represented by rising terrorism and crime. It enables users to process up to 60 people an hour per workstation, including details input, digital camera photography and ID card production with an appropriate printer.

The system enables groups of personnel to be processed and tagged as members of a particular group, company or family. This allows them to be contacted as members of that group for whatever purpose. The system is also ideal for clubs, schools, universities, or any site where photo ID can help with security and the welfare of those personnel who are legitimately on the premises.

"There are plenty of standalone photo ID systems on the market, but these represent additional expense and resource. With TCM4000, users get that functionality reliably and at no additional cost," says APT Projects MD Tony Rust.

TCM4000 + Workflow combines contact, customer relationship and document management and workflow, with advanced email and electronic filing. It offers a host of interactive features that allow users to work more efficiently, and provides a platform for strong competitive edge.

Aimed not just at sales and marketing, the system is an effective solution for all areas of an organisation, including credit control, administration and general business operations. Key benefits include the introduction of an advanced computer-based business methodology, a central database for all users, efficient organisation and structure of information flow and easy search facilities.

Designed specifically for larger organisations that require more control over user access, TCM4000 provides a range of extra features. While retaining the intuitive interfaces common to the current latest version of the system, TCM4000 adds the ability to customise the record structure and to link to various accounting systems.

Major additions have been made to the Customer Service Management module
making TCM a top performer against the best of available bespoke systems. TCM 4000 is a highly effective platform for adapting to a wide variety of vertical market needs as well as being the complete system for any organisation.

Developed by APT Projects, TCM 4000 is the result of an eight-year investment programme The system runs under Microsoft Windows 98, Millennium, NT Workstation and NT Server and XP. More information on TCM at:
