v4.000.71

  New features
  Getting Started in TCM wizard
As part of a drive to make TCM more accessible and understandable to home users we have introduced a Getting Started wizard which appears automatically after a new installation of TCM or for anyone who upgrades to this version and has not yet used TCM for 10 hours. The wizard, which will be expanded over time, takes you through creating a new user, importing from your existing applications, setting up an e-mail account and creating some typical folders in order to solidify the view in the user's mind that TCM is folder-based.

  Nomenclature
For a long time in TCM the terms Asset, Engineer, Job and Service Call were fixed in the program, however they do not suit a large percentage of businesses and so you can now use the Nomenclature area of Setup to rename these key words to be more suitable to your business.

For example, you might use Sales Agent instead of Engineer, and Sales Appointment instead of Service Call.

Note that changing these terms in Setup does not ripple through existing events, jobs and service calls renaming everything, these remain using the old terms. Only newly-created events, jobs and service calls will use the new names. The exception is Assets. Asset folders are always called Assets, regardless of the term used here, however TCM gives the appearance of using a different name by renaming asset folders on-the-fly. In the Database Screen for example, Asset folders will appear with whatever term you choose to use, even though the folder on the hard-disc remains with the name Assets.

  Bug fixes
No access to Thumbnails in a Normal folder
If you highlight a Normal folder in the Database Screen that contains images, TCM does not display a Thumbnails link until you highlight one of the images.
Fixed
E-mail headers and footers run together
When TCM creates a new e-mail account it doesn't leave any blank lines between the header and footer, so new e-mails have the header and footer run together.
Fixed
TCM offers to rescue blank e-mails
If you open the screen to compose a new e-mail and then close the screen without typing a message, TCM offers to rescue the message next time you start it up even though there's only the header and footer to be rescued.
